Marvel Universe updates

                        As you all may have noticed I have been doing a lot of reading to lately. Something about the winter time that just sparks up my desire to read. Anyways this segment is going to start off with my revised list of favorite superheroes(yes there all marvel I despise DC...with the exception of batman) Then I will move to the death/resurrection of a few characters and my feelings about that. So as normal less not waste any more time and get to the good stuff

Favorite Heroes/Villains

       1) Silver Surfer: Now many people say that Superman is the beast and greatest superhero ever. Well I severely challenge that. I wont do the whole debate now well unless I get alot of feed back then I will play out a few scenerios. But Silver Silver surfer has a protective shell that makes him impervious to the cold of space, and the hot of the hottest exploding stars, he has no need for food water or oxygen and goes through black holes like there slides. He has been hit with the full power of Thor's hammer and responded I have never been hit that hard before so now we can start to fight. He has worked for the devour of worlds and can destroy planets in nanoseconds. And speed of light? This guy can fly at hyperspace speeds. He can trasmute elements and can even heal other beings from near death injuries. Getting off his jock just google him you will see that he will destroy superman.

    2) Carnage: Out of all of Spiderman's foes Carnage is easily the biggest pain in the web. He is a psychopath that was empowered by the spawn of venom's symbiote suit. He also can web sling using tendrils and has learned how to form any type of weapon with his suit kinda like spawn. He does not need air to breath but is weak against vibrations same as venom. His original host Cleatus Cassidy got the symbiote in his bloodstream so the carnage is always apart of him even after being torn in half(yea dc our superheroes arent afraid to kill.) He managed to get back with cassidy. He has possessed the thing, the silver surfer, some of the fantastic for and I believe the hulk before and controlled them. As far as virus's go he is the worst def a badass villian. There were hints that Carnage would be in Spiderman 4 but I believe there doing a back story putting peter back in high school LAME. But there was an SNES video game Maximum Carnage where he was playable but they def need a new gen game where he is a playable character.

    3)   Hawkeye: Now many people may not be aware of Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye put he is a true blue bad ass. Yes on paper he is like a solid 6'2 230 something no super powers except top of the line strength and agility but he has accuracy with his bow that far outweighs the green arrow. Similar to the punisher but less of a psychopath he relies on his training and smarts to help him win fights and how good does he do? Well as you should know by now the original Avengers were Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, and the Hulk but not even a week after they were formed Hawkeye was recruited in the ranks and has saved the likes of Thor and even put down the Hulk a few times. Thankfully he is in the new avengers movie and he had a cameo in the Thor movie lol he was the guy with the smart ass mouth with the bow waiting to put one through Thor's chest

4) The Joker. Yes the only DC person on this list of characters. And he deserves it the man that is always smiling and the bane in batmans existence the pure fact that neither of them will kill the other is enough to make the comic amazing but this on top of the fact that the Joker is feared by both good and evil makes it amazing he has paralyzed batgirl, killed a robin and killed hundreds of others yet batman wont put him down. I tell you this the punisher would end him once and for all. Given the best comic to movie interpretation ever by heathe ledger his role as ultimate villain was sold to this new generation. 

5) Namor:  The avenging son and the reason aquaman sucks Namor is marvels oldest( Not by actual age but comic release dates) superhero he is a mutant but not by birth alone he stands alone by being the offspring from an Atlantis born mother and a human father yes the people that live underwater he can survive permanently on land or under water but his strength diminishes the longer he is away from water he has superhuman strength and has matched the hulk underwater in close combat he has the power to copy the beast of the sea powers like the electricity of an electric eel and such. He has a built in sonar and this makes him a mutant...he has the ability to fly. He is loyal ruler of his people and has waged war on the land lovers multiple times for trying to ruin his home world he is defiant and hot tempered he has teamed with the likes of the Silver surfer, dr. strange and the hulk as well as teamed with dr. doom in trying to protect his home place. He dropped down to number 5 from my number 1 spot mainly because marvel never really gave him the credit he deserved in my opinion. But there you go folks my fav five comic characters. And again if you would like to here more about them or do some what if? scenarios please comment them.

Recent deaths/Resurrections? 

                 Ok if you have ever read an X-men comic then you know about the feud between Wolverine and Sabertooth. Well recently that feud ended with the death of Sabertooth. Quick back story for those of you who live under a rock. Over the years it has been rumored that Sabertooth and Wolverine were brothers to father and son. They both have feral like features i.e pointy ears fangs and crazy hair. Sabertooth is way larger in size and stronger but wolverine has those infamous long claws which them along with his entire skeleton were fused with adamantium. Making him way harder for Sabertooth to kill. Now they both also have a healing factor which slows down there aging and lets them recover from serious injuries. The difference is that Sabertooth doesnt have adamantium( well from time to time someone hooks him up and it pisses old wolvy off.) but since his limbs can be cut off and they have been he either reattaches them or a new one grows . Well this character Romulus comes into the picture and explains there not related they just both evolved from wolves instead of apes like humans. And Romulus is taller and larger then Sabertooth and has claws like him but he wears a admantium glove with fake claws. Anyways he explains that he has been the one playing the feud between the 2 over the years. And it was to see who would be is successor . Anyways long ass story short he provided wolvy with a muramasa blade which pretty much nullifies all healing well a great part of healing abilities. Now I should also let you know that Romulus had made numerous Sabertooth clones and they had been killed from time to time. But we all assumed the one that fought Wolverine was the original and he cut off Sabertoothes arm...dropped him to his knees then chopped his head off and the whole universe was pissed cause the made him go out like a bitch. Anyways fast forward like a year or so and all of a sudden Sabertooth has been risen from the grave by the hellfire club and damn was I for one extremely happily.

        I am going to do the next 2 in one cause one I really could care less about. Over and over Captain america aka Steve Rogers has been killed well finally he stays dead and sorry I was very happy between him and bucky and all the other stand ins he is replaceable. Well they brought him back and I was highly upset. The next one really hurt me. the death of the silver surfer. It was a good series it was a 4 parter called requiem   in it the Silver Surfer starts off in a nutshell saying that he knows his time is near? Like wtf this guy has lived longer then most planets most universes so what now he has cancer of the cosmos? He goes to reed richards of the fantastic four( a close friend) and richards explains that the shell that has kept him alive all these years is finally wearing off and when it goes so will his life end. Well that really sucked but he found out he had like a month at most to live. Then the story got good he helped out spidey and his love interest gave spidey a power boost. Then went to his home world in search of his  long time love. So I am definitely not giving this one away but you really need to read it it is a very good read its a rare time when the writers actually make these none humans very human.

 

Book Review: Mary Shelley Frankenstein

First of all let me start off by saying that this is my all time favorite book. And yes I read it for the first time in 2011. I had read parts before and seen the movies book the original…wow it is amazing and it was written by like a 15 year old girl. Now there is nothing wrong with that but when you read the pain and the love and the HATE that she put on the pages it is unbelievable so without further ado and ***spoiler alert** lets get reviewing.

            The films always portrayed Frankenstein to be a monster while the book did no such thing not at all was he a creation of a bunch of dead people and sewn together blah blah yes he was but once he was brought to life. Was he angry and try to kill his creator when he was made? Yes but the movies never explain fully his pain. How does an orphan left for dead feel about his birth parents? Now multiply that by the fact that you’re the only one of your kind. And how he learned to talk and interact with humans was extraordinary observing just from a small hole in a cabin he learned to understand human emotions. Even once he did start murdering he only did it because his creator would not face him.

            Maybe I interpreted a little to much but it bore a striking resemblance to when humans get angry with God when a loved one is taken away or something bad really bad happens to a good person. Don’t you want an answer from God explaining what happened? But rarely will you get one and that is how Frankenstein’s creation felt. How many of us have raised our fist to our creator demanding an answer knowing that we don’t have the right to question him since he is our creator. But when Frankenstein created this creature that creature was made in pain and alone which is the worst kind of pain. His only request being that he wanted a mate (and considering how this book ended I am not sure how bride of Frankenstein was created). This request was denied because Victor feared another creation would have been just as corrupt and evil, although I really hoped that he did fully carryout the task to show if his assumption was correct.

            In the end victor found his end and his creation stood behind his word and ended its own life far away from the reaches of any other man. It truly was a sad tale filled with a little romance but more importantly I thing this book about so called monsters will bring people either closer to there own creators or...at least make them look at there inner demons. All in all I give this book a 5 STAR SPLASH!!!!

            In closing I know that my critiques can be a little bit better so please offer some advice should I dig more into the book kind of give more of the plot away? Or is how I am doing good enough to get you interested in reading the book?

 

                                                                      

Book Review: Cross

Now this book came as a shocker to me from two sides. First the author is James Patterson who my last review was a book from him a book for young adults which were the maximum ride series. A very PG-PG13 movie, now cross came into my presence because my mother told me she had bought it years back and thought it was about Jesus Christ but she never got into it. So I started reading and it was neither PG nor about Christ.

            The book starts off very fast typical James Patterson style it quickly works up to the most graphic rape scene I have ever read period point blank. It is a beautifully written story about vengeance and what you may want to call justice. From reading it you find out it’s at least a follow up from another book. I know that once I can put down my graphic novels he is an author I def plan to catch up some reading on.

            But back to the book sorry, it has love it has anger it has sadness but I really like about James Patterson is that his stories manage to keep you entertained even in points where there is no action going on for instance this book focus a lot on the back story of the antagonist nicknamed the Butcher. It eerily takes you to see how a serial killer is made and even depending on the reader may bring out some personal inner demons.

            Once again I give this book a 4 shooting star rating if the ending wasn’t predictable then it would have gotten 5 so as for now this book will now get the all coveted 5 star splash. Keep reading because I have many more books and possibly movies to rate on.

 

For Single Dad's part II

                     So at this point so far I have filed for joint custody papers, and her counter reaction was to file for a domestic violence restraining order..which oddly enough gave us temporary custody. After that we had to watch a parenting video then went to mediation spent 4 hours where at the end she felt that I didn't deserve to see my son at all? Really? SO now we were supposed to be waiting for a trial now I find out that we have to take a 50 dollar class in order to try and save the state money and see if we can come to a decision. Well knowing her she wont but I'm not making this personal just trying to help any dads going through this.

                   Now this is for the state of North Carolina some states have different procedures but through all of this I have served as my own representation. 1 I cant really afford the prices some of the lawyers be talking about and 2 I know that if I lose this case and she does get sole custody and I never see my child then the system has caused him to grow up and live without a father but I will know I did my best. But the key is to get very very prepared. You need to think back and find all incidents that can actually show the mom was negligent. Or That you are capable to provide him food shelter and a healthy social environment to grow in.

             If you have a criminal past then her lawyer will try to exploit that save yourself the shame and rain on his parade the first question he hints about your past explain that there is nothing you can do to change your past your here for the interest of your child and rehabilitation does not happen over night it is a process. When you answer a question that is possibly going to affect you negatively try and answer with an explanation then a yes or no.

          So that is about all for now when I hear more news I will allow you avid readers my thoughts and 75 hits my last count should be seeing some comments..questions or something? Well enjoy and live for the moment

free will gift..or curse?

This is my first post in a long time. I apologize for the lack of activity but I have not had much motivation to write. But today is a new day and my first post is going to be about acceptance.

            A great person once said the longer the fall the greater ascent. And it’s only when one has fell from such a height to where they are lower then a serpent’s belly do they reach for God’s forgiveness. Which in all honesty his forgiveness is not what is hard to ask for or receive yet accepting that all the blame does not fall on satan yet your own shoulders is the real pill to swallow.

            Each human being has to realize and admit that it is not our intelligence that separates us from animals it is our memories. The ability to record our mistakes and pass the lessons learned on to others of our kind, allows us to look back through time and prepare for a better tomorrow. It is this ability that forces us to struggle between good and evil everyday within ourselves. Read these words and let them sink into your heart. As Captain Planet says the power is yours.

Sins of The Father pt. I

            Recently I reflected on the teachings of a good father. A good father does his best to let his son no mistakes to avoid in his life. So this is the first of many series that I hope my child will one day read and gain a deeper understanding not just of me but of life as well

            Of all things in life fear 2 things. One being the Lord the other being Love. Why love? Because everything you hold true to your heart is a weakness. When you value something more then your own life humans by nature will try and hurt you by taking what you love. For instance no matter how strong a warrior may be harm or threaten his family and he will swear vengeance on even the creator.

            Women inherently know this that’s why you can never let them know that there the only irreplaceable ones. Make them realize that you can find another but you choose to just love and be with them. It’s a daring tactic but often times works

                                                                

Another Shocker

Once I manage to get folders made this is going to be one of the many post that goes under the banner the downfall of america. So today I was reading the newspaper and on the front page (yes I still actually read a physical paper) was an article in bold letters “Don’t ask, don’t tell officially history”. In short this bill/law whatever that was passed allows America to become the first nation in history to openly allow gays to serve in there military. Now I personally have no quarrels with gays but this will affect those openly people in more ways then one.

            For one you have to look at how the rest of the world will respect your nation and continue to acknowledge them as a dominant force knowing that there commander may be cross dressers. That means at UN conferences in years or maybe months men will stand there representing America and have on a womens uniform. Because this is just the beginning; by allowing them to openly serve what happens when the whole gender identity gets raised up…and it will because that is the next unnatural progression. More mundane studies will be done and then it will be passed that if a man is gay and he feels he is a women then he deserves to be treated like one. Then there is gender modification and same sex marriages. The federal government has not made it a law but some states have. So when one is deployed will you pay the spouse separation pay?

            And then there is still the factor of distractions in the field and in general. From people that don’t agree with there life styles to people that want to get them in the bed. Even between men and women you don’t always want a women bent over in front of him and expect him to stay focused on watching the little terrorist sneak across the field. Reading this article was a very very drop down on the scale of the growth of that country they are working against themselves and honestly do not get the concept that a divided house will fall.

Book Review Maximum Ride

Welcome readers once again I still don’t have the slightest idea on how to make folders even though that is what I am feeling this page really needs so once again if you know please email me at ssj7zombislayer@gmx.com once I get the folder is up this is going to be my little informational corner of course the name will be much catchier. Anyways this is going to be my little reader corner. I recently finished reading a trilogy by an amazing author. James Patterson is the author and Maximum ride is the series. These books are actually really good reads, I am not going to go into extreme details because very soon the Maximum Ride series will be made into movies and there is already a manga line but the books are priceless, so without further ado here is my review.

            The first of the 4 books is called Maximum Ride: The Angel experiment, the second book is Maximum Ride: School’s Out Forever, the third is Maximum Ride: Saving the World and other extreme sports and the final book is called Maximum Ride: I have yet to even start the last one ine the series because I initially bout the books when they first came out a few years back. The books are non stop action with extremely good plot and character development. The reading is not too difficult and I love James Patterson style of writing with his extremely short chapters.  I also like the semi connections that he has between characters in different books of his.

            In a nutshell the Maximum Ride series is about a group of teenagers that as babies there dna was combined with avian dna strains. There leader is Maximum aka Max she is the strong willed and quick reacting leader of the group. Fang is the 2^nd in command and I describe him as an emo dark haired and of very few words and not the most social butterfly. Then there is Iggy( my favorite) Iggy is blind but you can barely tell it obviously due to years of experience and he has an extremely strong sense of hearing and smell. Then there is Nudge. Nudge is the only one of them of color she is described as black with really pretty skin and hair she has an uncanny ability to hack computers and type like the wind. Then there is Gazzy aka the Gasman his name does imply a lot he is younger then Nudge but older then angel and him and Iggy share an obsession and talent for making explosives. Also Gazzy has the ability to mimic voices to an exact tone. Then there is Angel the baby of the group…well the youngest of them all, A lot of the story focus on here she has a critical role mainly because she can read minds pretty cool. All the kids have well above any normal human’s strength and have actual feather wings.

            They get chased over the entire map trying to stay alive hunted down by werewolf like creatures and other genetic mutations. The story has a lot of up’s and downs and plety of plot twist. Parents trying to get there young teens or even middle school age children, this would be a good series to start with. And again there is 4 so that is a lot of reading to do and a good way to kill some time during the winter months. Yes I said winter summer time should be spent out playing and yes reading to but take my advice break the reading increase to them in the winter. The book does have some no a lot of ties to Anarchy which I loved obviously. All in all I give the series a 5 star splash!!!! I can not find or ask for anything better. Currently there is production of a movie and there is a manga already in print. I read 3 of the books before I ever saw the manga and the characters looked a lot like I imagined again in my little readers corner I do feel that there will be many more post about James Patterson books. Also I do plan on making a films folder. I know that technology is growing but people we really do not need to replace newspapers and books with all online and electronic replacements… it is a good feeling to smell new papers and to old a comic you say…anyways keep feeding your mind.

For Single Dad's part I

Okay so you have filed for custody and you may or not have an attorney. this is for those without an attorney. Now since the process is long once you file for custody the mothers attorney will likely file a domestic violence protection order. Now they may or may not have ever been any domestic violence either way attorneys use this to cheat the judicial system into making a temp decision on custody. now since you filed for custody this will be the first time you and the mother are in front of the judge. do not biccer about the charges use this time to express your right to have visitations. she will likely ask for child support and custody blah blah now most states do require mediation which is a great program even though neither party has to come to an aggrement. i know that this is not very in depth but again the process is very long and i am not an attorney after i filed for custody we had mediation a month later then i waited for our trial i spent the rest of my time preparing for that day which is what i want to encourage you to do.
