When a country ignores its people

It took me a while to find something to blog about today. And I found it in a place that I normally don’t look at a whole lot. The newspaper, I know go figure someone trying to make a living in blogging doesn’t read the newspaper and rarely watches the news. The reason for this is because it is usually nothing good or very uplifting, but I have recently found a new found respect for journalism on a whole. To actually get out there and find real stories on a day to day basis, but today I did just so happen to read a good bunch of the paper. One article stuck out in my mind. Plus I found a very, very interesting movie to watch. But that was my impression at a good but vague opening graph.

Now a huge problem that I have is with the way that America is run as a whole. God Save the Queen, so while reading the paper I found 2 articles that really stoke out. One was an article saying that in America there are 14 million of there own people that are unemployed plus there are 2.6 million more Americans that are not considered unemployed because they have stopped looking for work. It was a rather long article that pretty much shows that the numbers are only going to keep rising. The second article was a little better. There is a county in the United States that is trying to prohibit jobs from asking about criminal convictions on there applications. They have them hold off on asking that until the interview portion so they can allow the applicant to explain about the conviction. Now very few adamant anarchists will have clean record. Simply because cops are stupid and once you invoke your first amendment rights and you actually know your rights and how many times they mess up…well less say they usually get mad and start making threats on arrest with so many different charges. It is actually pretty sad   and pathetic that law enforcement officials are so untrained and filled with so much lack of knowledge.

Because it actually defeats the purpose, now so many Americans are always so happy to shout cliché’s such as if you do the crime then you must do the time. And your guilty until proven innocent. Well what happens when you do the time and you get out and can not get a job because they have a criminal conviction? Well then you probably either have a struggling blogger or a repeat offender. And as far guilty until proven innocent? Open your local newspaper and look at who was arrested now look at the bond amounts. Should they not all be the same for the same crimes? Well look closely there not. Plus if you’re in jail because you can not afford to get out or the magistrate was too upset to take his time and figure out a fair amount for the bond you have to sit in jail. Again not very innocent are you?

Now the second more common source I found for this post today was a film called Public Enemies. Now this is a very good movie based on true events. But the problem was I thought I was going to be watching Batman and Superman…public enemies. Big difference, anyways it is a movie about the life and crimes of John Dillinger who broke in and out of jail at will. And robbed whatever ank he felt like. He went on to become a hero to the public and coined the phrase you can be a dead hero or a live coward. Words to live by def, now in the movie Dillinger was public enemy number 1. Hence the name of the movie, the fbi and local police kept getting out smarted and out played by dillinger (no surprise there.) But that is the point I want to speak about. When someone is arrested or on the run or whatever law enforcement and local newspapers and now even BUSTED magazines are in a hurry to let the entire public no what is going on. Now am I wrong but is the public getting those papers for free? Are we getting money for helping you find them? A reward, you may say well your doing your civil duty or something stupid…well if it is my civil duty to help law enforcement why does law enforcement get paid and guns and nice cars to drive around in? Should they not also do it out of a civil duty? That people is called hypocrisy.

And it gets worst then that. Have you ever filed a complaint against a police officer? I have. Guess who the complaint goes to, you probably guessed right the police govern the police. Only when one of there own does so much garbage that it stinks to high heaven do they bring in an outside entity. And have you ever tried to film a police officer…I have but there are laws against filming a certain person without there permission. So have you ever filmed a police officer after getting his permission and then you get him to admit to something on camera and when he does all of a sudden you’re breaking the law by filming him? Done that to, kind of fun actually now whether you are a fan of anarchy or not the right to freedom and universal right to your god given rights are for everyone. And when your government turns its back on you it is time for that bidy to fall. Thankfully there are great places like the beach and Canada where we can actually be free. Actually I hear Europe is…and Australia…actually besides korea and china I think much of the world is more civil than that of the united states.

This was more of an informal post and hints to actually wake up and look around at the nation you live in. You buy a car or a house or property and pay for it but you still pay taxes to your state. Why? I don’t have that answer and it’s stupid. Life is supposed to be more then about money my readers. But for now just let this little article sink in your mind.

Ghandi

During my short life I have seen and endured so much pain and suffering on this planet. Many cliché’s constantly bounce around in my head acting as a self-defense mechanism against ignorant men that hide behind badges. But not very many stick out more then the one I am about to write about.  A quote originally found in the Old Testament and later perfected by; Ghandi behold my thoughts on an eye for an eye.

Before getting on the cliché it self let me first inform you a little bit about the eye itself. Someone at some point in history pointed out that the eyes were the key to the soul. Implying that if you stare deep enough into the eyes of a person’s eye then you can see there desires and emotions. I used to think this was all just talk until I met the woman I loved. She was beautiful everything I could ask for in a woman. Dark haired, fair skinned, tight and lovely body, and dripping with sexuality. Fast forward a few months and we are engaged and I am trying to plan the greatest wedding Canada has ever seen. But for some reason I felt the need to tell her that I had a night of indiscretion this resulted in the longest car ride I have ever had to make. A trip that was only in reality an, hour and 45mins seemed to last 3 years. And the worst part was that her eyes had become blue. But not a sky blue or a baby blue; this blue was the blue of a blue moon, a moon that a lone wolf howls out longing to reach it. If angels truly do cry then they pale in comparison to the pain I saw in her eyes. On that day I saw her soul. And in her soul I saw hope and dreams and a future slowly fade away and at that moment I knew that the rumor was not a rumor but instead karma and a good conscious slapped me in the face(this is also the day that I murdered my conscious.)

So if eyes are the windows to the soul. And the cliché were here for is an eye for an eye…which Ghandi perfected by replying that it only leaves the world blind. So with the world blind what happens to the soul? Does the soul just seep out through the voids in your skull? What kind of world would that be? And insert the point. The answer to that riddle is the world we have today. A world where abortions are justified as well as capitol punishment, a world that builds societies on the belief in God then repels his teachings in there school. The greatest gift that an eye for an eye gets man is the gift of pain. Because from pain so much good music has been created, because when you want to here good music you will listen to the Curt Cobain melody you will download disturb to drown out the sound of your parents fighting while your locked away in your room. Yes sadly I do see that being the only thing that this line of thinking will ever give mankind. Who knows what it takes to bring about true peace? I am not sure if it is possible without bloodshed, but revenge is never going to solve anything except for turning the wheel on a vicious cycle of spilled blood being covered up for mainly selfish needs.

I know that a lot of you are probably wondering what ever happened to me and that ex- fiancé of mines. Well in a nutshell we did breakup we lost touch but never feeling and were reunited on a social networking site. The love was still there and she admitted if I would have tried to chase her down and apologize more then she would have forgiven me. This is definitely on my top 10 list of dumb ideas. Anyways we are together now and happily in love. Sorry guys no pictures or names for you to spank off to. Try to get out of the house some time and go find your own you would be surprised how often you will have success.

The monkey vs the moon

I almost missed my deadline for a post today. I spent all day wanting to write but just could not seem to grasp anything into enough words to give my readers a legitimate post. But it finally came to me at about 11:30pm. It comes from an old story about the monkey and the moon. The story goes that every night the monkey would look up in the open sky and see the full moon starring at him. It was the most beautiful thing that he had ever seen and he wanted to go to it more then anything. And every night he would go to his favorite watering hole, and he would see the reflection of the moon in the water. He would sneak up on it and land face first in the water. He would climb a tree and launch him self at it to find the same result time and time again he would try his hardest and then fail…Then one day man started sending apes into space. And the monkey was captured and sent to the moon in a space ship. He landed on the moon and was SO very happy he ran around and did flips and howled back at the Earth with a sense of achievement because he found his love. And here is what I wanted to post…

Even if the distance is vast or the struggle great,
            Even if I did not know where to search or simply how to start;
Even if the road ahead is blocked or I can no longer walk,
Even if every bone in my body shatters or if everyone else tells me otherwise.
Even if you don’t want me to save you or will hate me for doing so,
            I will save you
Because nothing else could ever change the world

The story was about determination and how never giving up pays off in the end. Sadly enough it does not always end so nicely. But even if you are to fail as long as you know that you gave it your all then you can fail knowing that you did all you could. And that is by far my most prized poem. Please feel free to spread it. Oh and remember it is better to die on your feet then live on your knees.
